bias news
Ok. The headline is: Teenager Wings it with a Fake Airline. It’s about a teenager in Britain ( or whatever) that kept up a charade for about 6 months pretending to be the representative of some big company that wanted to lease some of the jets. He claimed that he was in his twenties and that his company wanted to launch its own airline. He flew to Jersey to talk to the airline director in some 2 hour long business meeting, and he gave information to contact his “fellow executives” which turned out to be him. He published an article in an arline magazine, and that’s when the secret got out. They found out he was just a kid. But from the headline, you would think that this kid just wanted to play a huge prank on a bunch of people, using his power of imagination, or you’d think he just finished watching Catch Me If You Can, thinking he could do the same thing or better. But you read the article and find out thatt his kid suffers from autism, with an amazing creative side and impressive business skills. He didn’t think it was a joke, he thought he could really pull off all of what he said, probably thinking there was not a problem in his actions. The headlines makes you life and smirk at the idiots who believed some teen had a few jets to hand away, but reading the article makes it more believable that this happened. I’d say that it’s biased to make the teen look good, probably because of his success and his condition.
